GE Fanuc / GE Automation

GE Fanuc Intelligent Platforms, now part of Emerson Automation Solutions, was a 1986 joint-venture between GE (USA) and FANUC (Japan). It produced the PACSystems RX3i (IC695/RXi)/RX7i (VMEbus rack), Series 90-30 / 90-70 legacy PLCs, QuickPanel+ HMIs, VersaMax remote I/O, and Genius / Profibus / Ethernet controllers. Many of these platforms are still widely deployed in oil & gas, power generation, and water treatment legacy plants and supported via surplus distribution channels.
