Product Overview

The ACS580-01 is ABB's general-purpose all-compatible variable frequency drive for HVAC fans/pumps as well as conveyors and mixers. Model ACS580-01-018A-4 is rated for 7.5 kW normal duty / 5.5 kW heavy duty with 17A continuous output from 380-480V 3-phase. Built-in automatic energy optimizer (AEO) reduces kW consumption on quadratic-torque loads by typically 15-30%. The intuitive ACS-AP-S Assistant Control Panel with optional Bluetooth supports guided setup wizards and 44-language localization. Safe Torque Off (STO) is standard with SIL3/PLe rating; additional functional safety modules (FSO-12/FSO-21) add SS1, SLS, SMS, SSM, SDI up to PL e without additional safety PLCs. Drive Composer Pro tool provides detailed diagnostic, parameter backup, and oscilloscope function. IP20 UL Open; cabinet IP55/IP21 wall-mount kits are available.
