Product Overview

MR-J4-200A is the 2kW model in Mitsubishi Electric's 4th-generation MELSERVO-J4 family of ultra-high-performance servo amplifiers. SSCNET III/H fiber-optic serial servo network connects up to 96 axes with 41.7µs bus cycle and deterministic sub-nanosecond distributed clock synchronization. A 22-bit absolute encoder (4,194,304 pulses per revolution) enables ultra-fine velocity ripple suppression for high-resolution positioning stages. The industry-first "one-touch auto-tuning" with 9th-generation adaptive filter automatically identifies up to 16 mechanical resonance modes, designing notch and anti-resonance filters in real time without manual intervention for smooth motion on flexible belt and ball-screw drives. Dual-channel Safe Torque Off (STO) per IEC 61508 SIL2 / PLd eliminates the need for power contactors; optional MR-J4-DO Safety I/O and MR-J4-BF Safe Motion option cards add SS1, SLS, SOS, and Safe Brake Control. CC-Link IE TSN master CPU (iQ-R) can directly control MR-J4 servos via the network.
