Product Overview

The QUINT4 series is Phoenix Contact's fourth-generation 24V power supply platform, packed with unique features designed to maximize availability. Model 2904601 delivers 24V 10A (240W) from 85-264V AC single-phase input with efficiency up to 94.3%. A signature PowerBoost (150% for 5 seconds, 125% indefinitely) handles high inrush loads from contactors and capacitive DC-DC converters without voltage sags. The patented Selective Fuse Breaking (SFB) technology delivers 6x nominal current for 15ms to trip miniature circuit breakers selectively on the faulty branch while other loads stay powered. An internal 100% Power Reserve provides energy buffering for short mains dips, and the adjustable DC OK threshold enables precise diagnostics. Near-Field Communication (NFC) allows smartphone configuration without bus wiring; Push-in connection technology cuts wiring time in half. Suitable for Class I Div 2 hazardous locations and shipbuilding (GL/DNV certification).
