Product Overview

The PowerFlex 525 is Rockwell Automation's most versatile mid-range AC drive, designed for machine-level motor control applications including conveyors, fans, pumps, mixers, and extruders. A 4kW (5 HP) model 25B-D010N114 delivers 10.5A continuous from a 380-480V 3-phase supply. Integrated dual-port EtherNet/IP with Device Level Ring (DLR) enables high-availability line and ring network topologies. Torque-provided vector control delivers 200% starting torque at 0.5 Hz with sensorless vector and up to 150% at 0 Hz with closed-loop flux vector (encoder feedback option). Integrated Safe Torque Off (STO) is PLd / SIL2 certified per EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508. Two-channel STO input accepts Guardmaster safety relays or GuardLogix over CIP Safety. Programming, parameter backup, and drive monitoring use Studio 5000 Logix Designer or Connected Components Workbench, with automatic faceplate generation for FactoryTalk View.
