WTB4-3N1361 (catalog 1028097) is a member of the proven SICK W4 family, in Inox version (stainless steel housing 1.4404/AISI 316L) with ECOLAB detergent and high-pressure IP69K wash-down certification. Diffuse reflective technology with Line-Spot Background Suppression (BGS) reliably detects objects of any color (black shrink-wrapped parts on shiny stainless conveyors, white foils on black plastics) within 10mm-350mm sensing range. A bright red Class 1 laser-class laser-LED line spot simplifies initial alignment. The 4-pin M8 connector with 2m pigtail is NPN with a single switching output and IO-Link v1.1 for parameterization, identification, and real-time diagnostics including received-signal strength, temperature, and operating hours via IO-Link master. 316L stainless housing resists repeated 80°C high-pressure jet wash cycles with alkaline and chlorine-based disinfectants common in food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and life-science filling lines.
