Product Overview

CPU 1214C is the most popular mid-tier compact PLC in the S7-1200 family. It is ideal for stand-alone machines, packaging, material handling, and OEM building automation controls. Integrated high-speed counters (HSC) support up to 100kHz for AB incremental encoders, while the 4 PTO pulse-train outputs enable cost-effective open-loop positioning for up to 4 stepper or servo axes. PROFINET with Media Redundancy Protocol (MRP) allows ring topologies. TIA Portal Step 7 Basic provides intuitive ladder, FBD, SCL, and GRAPH programming languages out of the box.
